Privacy & Data

Updated October 21, 2026. This page explains data boundaries for the website demo, existing product and planned features. Planned reference-material processing is not a live service.

This site collects no test applications, accepts no personal-photo uploads and calls no cloud models. Sample images are AI-generated and bundled with the page. Demo suggestions are preset; selections and order exist only in page memory.

Website demo

Desktop originals and local projects

Desktop import reads photos and stores references, thumbnails and previews. Originals remain in their folders and selection does not modify them. Manage your own original-file backups; caches cannot replace originals.

Local projects store choices, ratings, notes, sequences, tasks, drafts and memory. Export omits known local-path fields by default, but names, briefs and notes you enter may still contain private information.

Real models and image consent

Real AI tasks send the goal and necessary context to the indicated service within the task scope, potentially including filenames and notes. Manual selection does not require a model. The website does not collect service credentials.

Visual tasks require consent for the actual observation service and model. They send metadata-stripped JPEG previews with a maximum 1,400px long edge. Allow per task or project, or deny images. Revocation stops future sending, not content already sent; provider retention follows its own policies.

Shared previews and access

Sharing uses re-encoded previews up to 2,048px, never original files. Sharing consent excludes AI image sending and author memory. Members also see manifest filenames, selection states, sequence order and published discussion.

A shared package creates an independent copy. Formal migration moves further editing to the web and leaves a read-only desktop snapshot. Revocation prevents later access but cannot recover downloaded pixels or screenshots.

Memory, deletion and historical copies

Preference hypotheses can be confirmed, corrected, disabled, retired or deleted; human evidence can be excluded or deleted. Deleting a current record does not securely erase command history, old snapshots, backups or provider copies. Cross-project local memory is off by default; offline-author and cloud-model scopes are distinct.

Reference materials and AI

Planned research boards will distinguish reference material from your photographs. Saving a reference does not authorize AI uploads, member sharing or publication; each scope must be checked when the feature is implemented.
